What a great time was had by all during our mission to Barbados and Trinidad.

HUGE thanks to Denis Grady and Bernadette Scott for taking a chance meeting at World Youth Day and
turning it into this wonderful experience.

I couldn't make it for the first leg in Trinidad, which included ministering in small towns, schools and
prisons. They tell me it was true ministry and some of the most wonderful highlights of the entire tour took
place in the prison.

The second week (when I joined the group) was spent in Barbados doing a fundraising event for the Living
Water Community whose work provides care and shelter, etc for the homeless. We also went to a local
school and sang for the younger set. Bernadette had us blowing up balloons to give out and the kids had a
great time.

Our fundraising concert in the church in Barbados was sold out and apart from a pigeon dove who lives in
the rafters blessing me with a special "present", we all had a tremendous evening. One of our stops in
Trinidad took us to a community center where John Grassadonia had them dancing in the aisles...the DJ
loved "God's Great Universe" so much, he played it 4 times in a ROW!!!! Poor John, who didn't know what to
make of this unusual behavior, just kept on going and we all just kept on dancing and singing along. What a
riot!

These are but a few of the blessings that flowed all around. The hospitality of Bernadette's friends and
community, putting up so many visitors in their homes, the folks in Barbados taking rooms in a beautiful
local hotel on the water and bringing food every day, taking us for tours , serving lunches and dinners.
Amazing fellowship and generosity.
Shellie, our beloved
Bernadette Scott, Lynn,
Matt and Joel.
